I bought a mini fridge from comet today, i traveled 200mile to work to find the fridge had a massive dint.?!
i have not used fridge and ive put it back in the original box, surely they can check their records to prove what i say??

Yes i think they would refund it ... Did you buy it on a card ? They would have proof if you done it that way .
If you bought it with cash i don't think they would be able to swap it because they have no evidence that you bought the fridge but they may give you vouchers.
If none of that works just explain your dilemma and see what happens ...

Unless they can trace your transaction in their systems, and are willing to do so, then they most proboably still ask you for receipt, as 'proof of purchase'.

Comet is the worst,most awkward store with the most ignorant staff.Once they have had your money dont exoect any help.
Of course this doesnt mean dont try.If help isnt forthcoming,make sure the rest of the customers in the store know about it.
what was ur mini fridge doin at ur work? and how did it get there before you? didnt you notice the dent when you was taking it to work? is that what you got it for? i hate when that happens, they should do a swap or refund your money as long as you have the receipt like you said
