Has anybody tried Costco's Kirkland coffee, specifically the "New Guinea? blend?!

Question: Is it any good? I like darker coffees like French Roast. This kind costs only $11 for a 48 oz. bag. The Starbuck's French Roast cost twice as much.

I haven't had Costco's version but we were in the coffee business for 17 years and the coffee of Papau New Guinea is very good. The age and grade are important as well. I would guess that this coffee you speak of is not top grade and a medium roast is best

its good! but i looooooove starbucks....so if theres any small tester packadges try both and choose the one you like best!

no

no good :(

Interestingly enough, their coffee comes from the same source as all the others.

starbucks beats ALL (but it is expensive you're right) The coffee at costco isnt too bad though..

My husband loves the Kirkland French Roast. We haven't gotten to Costco in a while, so he's been buying Starbucks beans (which we aren't now since it's expensive). Now he's going to Yuban.
As you can tell, we're not exactly coffee snobs, we just like plain black coffee.

Too bad, nope, never.

Yes I have.
