How long does Skim Milk last?!

Question: I am a new apartment owner, and I drink Skim Milk. If the Date on the bottle says April 1st, how long does it normally last before it starts to go bad?

Obviously when it starts to smell but just wondering the normal length of milks life.

Milk can last up to a week from the bought date, maybe slightly longer and then one or two days after the use by date. Anyways you'll find the use by date on the lid of the bottle/carton.

The date on the bottle is a sell by date. It's good for a few days after.

I tend to throw it away after the date. A day after at the most.
