I put sour gummy worms in a cup of sprite it has bubbles on top of the worms why is that?!

umm i dun think it has anything to do with the gummi worms. its most likely that the gummi worms are acting as a surface for the carbonated soda bubbles to form. the sour stuff on the worms is acutally the same or similar stuff that is in ur sprite. i think u get the same effects even if u put anything in there like a spoon for instance.
