Boil some water. Then add your tea bags. Remove from heat and let the bags seep for at least 30 minutes. Remove tea bags from water. Pour water into a pitcher. Add some sugar. And fill the pitcher with cold water. Stir and serve with ice. Enjoy!

...Seet tea...
INGREDIENTS
2 cups sugar
1/2 gallon water
1 tray ice cubes
3 family sized teabags of orange pekoe tea
3 cups cold water, or as needed

DIRECTIONS
Pour the sugar into a large pitcher. Bring water to a boil in a large pan. When the water begins to boil, remove from the heat, and place the teabags in. Let steep for 5 to 6 minutes.
Remove tea bags, and return tea to the heat. Bring just to a boil, then pour into the pitcher, and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Fill the pitcher half way with ice, and stir until most of it melts. Then fill the pitcher the rest of the way with cold water, and stir until blended.

I grew up on sweet tea, this is my mama's sweet tea...6 teabags (lipton)..boil water..pour over teabags..cover and let steep until lukewarm or room temp. Add 2-3cups sugar to 2 gal pitcher, steep tea and fill up with cold water and stir..put in fridge...get it ice cold....mmmmm...fresh lemons are always nice too...enjoy

hope, im telling you if you put as much sugar in as you are being advised to on here thus far you will have syrup instead of tea....it will be so sweet you wont be able to stand it....i am from florida and have been here all my life pretty much.....use 8 lipton tea bags and bring them ALMOST to a boil....let it steep for about 10 minutes....put about 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar into a GALLON pitcher and pour your hot tea over it and stir to dissolve the sugar....then take your pot with your tea bags still in it and run cold water into it and then pour into your pitcher as though you are rinsing the tea bags (essentially what you ARE doing) until your pitcher is full.....final stir and then..pour over a large glass of ice....drink within a day or day in a half otherwise it gets sweeter over time and be sure to refrigerate as tea with sugar in it will sour if left out

Pakistani Tea is the BEST!

Boil tea and sugar in a pan. Preferably loose tea but a bag is ok if you must! Boil the tea for around five minutes. Then add plenty of milk and boil for another minute. Test the tea to make sure it's just right. Pour into cups, using tea strainer if it's loose tea, and enjoy the best cuppa you've ever tasted.

Buffalo milk is the best of course but I use ordinary semi-skimmed from the supermarket and it's fine.

Sets my teeth on edge just thinking about it, I cant stand tea with sugar, yuk !!
