This question is for people who know about the law in the U.S. about alcohol?!

Question: Can someone like me (14) buy an non-alcoholic drink that tastes like beer? Like O'Douls I read the label and it says non-alcoholic, then in the back it says contains less than 0.5% of alcohol. Can I buy it?

Each state sets their own laws for alcohol consumption.

In the United States, beverages containing up to 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV) can be legally called non-alcoholic according to the Volstead Act. Due to the extremely low alcohol content present in various brands of "NA"(non-alcoholic) beer, the sale to minors is legal in most states. A state must pass separate laws to ban the sale of "NA" beer to minors and it is not in the jurisdiction of the states liquor authority.

So, you see, you need to check the law within your state, whichever that one is.

I'm not sure, never thought about it. I'm 34 and have no clue. LOL Here's a star for interesting though. Can't wait to see the answers.

if its non -alcoholic yes, try if they say no, get an older friend, or pay someone going into the store to grab you it, pay them well

good luck

in ohio you have to be 21 to purchase n/a beer. it was 18 until about 10 years ago.
