What is Coffee?!

Question: What is Coffee? Is it a fruit or Vegetable? What is it?

Answers: What is Coffee? Is it a fruit or Vegetable? What is it?

The Coffee 'bean' is not a bean but a seed from the fruit (cherry) of the coffee tree so it is a fruit product.
Beans like pinto and lima are the product of the seed pod of a bean plant which is a vine.
fruit grow on trees, beans (vegetables) grow on vines.

Fruit

beans
so vegetable?

It's neither.
Check the link below.

Coffee comes from a fruit, but it is not a fruit itself. Coffee is the pit of the fruit that grows on the coffee tree. The fruit is called the coffee cherry or coffee berry. But the coffee "bean" is really the pit inside that fruit.

Coffee is a drinks so technically not a fruit of vegetable. There's things called "ingredients" such as powder-milk (like Coffemate) to make it.

It's made from a bean so I think it's a frutable.

Coffee must be a drug. Why else would everyone be so addicted to it? Lol

Never thought about it, but since it's the seed (bean) of a fruit plant .... maybe 5 cups of coffee a day would count towards 5 helpings of FRUIT per day!! lol (just kidding)
