I don't serve alcohol at family functions so I've been in the same boat as you're in. I actually think that you have a good selection of drinks, but here are a few that I use...

I really like making a sherbert punch. Everyone can drink it (even people with dairy allergies) and it's a little different than the standard punch that most people serve.

The recipe I use comes from Cooks.com, I put my additions in parenthesis

3/4 container of orange or pineapple sherbet (I always use rainbow sherbert)
1 can frozen orange juice (I actually prefer the "Five Alive" juice)
1 lg. can fruit punch
2 liter 7Up, may not need all (sometimes I use Ginger Ale or Cherry 7 up...it just depends on what I have on hand)

Pour into punch bowl orange juice, fruit punch and 7Up (taste to make sure have enough 7Up). Spoon in desired amount of sherbet. ( I always use all the sherbert)

Also sometimes I buy those " Bacardi Mixers" in the frozen juice aisle and I just selzer water and a limes. Those are really nice in the summer.

Flavoured water.

Orange juice !

I think you're going a little over the top.

milkshakes, tea, smoothies, sparkling flavoured water, schloar

Mocktails and punch are also good ideas.

Flavoured milk, milkshakes.

Stuff that, my one year old loves nothing more than a large Bombay Sapphire Gin and Tonic, squeeze of lime juice and a little ice.

i think that should be enough lol!!!

no iron bru ?

blackcurrant ??

ribena ???

well you need ice so then put it in a large bowl and throw in all your fruit juices, then slice oranges and lemons looks great and tastes great................Fruit punch !

happy birthday to your baby !!!

i would say some hawian punch and caprisun's. after that i think that you are all set.

It's a 1st birthday party - trust me when I say that the main attraction will be all the pretty coloured wrapping paper and string.

I think you've got enough! But be careful of serving too many soft drinks because little teeth are sensitive.

Juice is always good! Apple and orange seem to be favourites among kids...

Cordial is good as well, just make sure you dilute it enough because lots of hyper kiddies (and you say there are many!) can be a handful.

Flavoured milk is also another option! I'm 17 and I still absolutely adore it. Oooh and milkshakes and smoothies. Especially if it's a hot day. Kids go ape for milk.

But, seriously... I'm sure even just having a few selection of drinks will be fine :]

Awwww, but have fun! 1st birthday parties are SOOOO cute.

Look at your list and cross out any that will stain the carpet because that is where most of it is going.

Try maybe white grape juice, especially the fizzy variety.

cordial, milkshakes, smoothies, juice mixed with lemonade, fanta, apple and mango juice

water

i don't know...

milo. although that might make them a little bit over-energised

if there are parents and stuff there coffee and tea and all that sorta stuff

yer

YOU are encouraging your guests to drink & drive?!

Koolaid

Sounds like you have it covered - but they'll be running around in hyper-drive with all those chemicals and E numbers!! I like the idea of diluted fruit juice with fruit slices in to make it look interesting (or is that a choking hazard for one year olds?!) Fruit juice with fizzy water or lemonade for the grown-ups? Loads of ice and a sugar-frosting round the lip of the glass makes it look more 'sophisticated'.

Everyone needs bottled water at a party. Not so much for the kids but for the other parents helping out!

non alcoholic daquiri

Virgin Caipirinha

This also has an alcoholic version which has a strong kick to it but not sure what alcohol you put in it! This alternative is sweet and light.

Half a lime
Half a lemon
Half an orange
Ginger ale
Sugar cubes

1. Dice the lime, lemon and orange into small pieces
2. Place the pieces in the bottom of a glass
2. Add a sugar cube to the mix and plenty of crushed ice
4. Top the glass with the ginger ale
5. Garnish with a sprig of mint after stirring the mixture thoroughly.

P.s This drink is meant for the Adults at the party!!
