Without a machine, can you still make Latte Macciatos at home?!

Question: There is a way, but the question is whether that effort is worth it... in terms of the taste you achieve. You can buy "instant espresso", a powder that you dissolve in boiling water. Stir very well and pour into a Latte Macciato glass. Heat milk and turn it foamy by using a little battery operated mixing thingie, available for a couple of Euros in every household section of any bigger department store such as Karstadt or Galeria Kaufhof (or IKEA, actually), then pour it into the glass.

It′s quite an effort for the quality you get. You might want to give it a try anyway - if you don′t like it, simply go back to drinking regular coffee from the machine and foaming up the milk - gives a Latte Macciato feel when drinking, you just need to remember to always heat the milk, otherwise it won′t turn foamy AND will cool your coffee in NO time. The leftover instant coffee is fine to use in cappucino creme cakes.... ooooooh yummy. So no loss anyway. :)
