Caffeine takes as long as anything to leave the body, but it's effects (like not sleeping) only last 1-2 hours, more depending on the strength.

If you want it to be completely out of your body it could be anything between 9 and 24 hours depending on the amount of caffeine.

If you want to make yourself feel sleepy, drink a hot drink with no caffeine in it, such as hot chocolate or fruit tea.

Hope this helps!

I would stop drinking caffeine drinks at least 2-3 hours prior to bedtime. Drink water if you must drink something.

Caffiene has a half life of about 4 hours before metabolised or expelled.

After 1800 hours I would use Decaffeinated Coffee or Tea
***Increased brewing times for tea --More caffeine consumed*** (How long I estimate 6-8hours)
