Does anyone know something about British teas?!

Question: I really don't know anything about what types of teas are good with desserts or what kind are good for the afternoon or for dinner but I'm going to be a trial waitress for a British tea house so I would like to know the basics of what kind of tea a tea house would serve and what they are best served with. Please help.

Earl Grey is a light tea with a hint of citrus. It would go well with most desserts.

Darjeeling is a mix of Indian and British black teas. Very dark and very potent. Best for breakfast. Or anytime someone needs a pick-me-up.

a british tea house? wow, i wonder what it's like in one of them. i wouldn't have tea with dessert at all, it sounds revolting, sorry.
