Generally it's 1 teaspoon per cup or one of those little plastic ones that come with your pot. Taste and strenght will vary from one blend to another but if you are not too particular about your coffee this will work.

I generally use a tablespoon per cup. So for 12 full cups of coffee, try 12 tablespoons of coffee grounds.

I usually use 3 coffee scoop measures per 6 cup pot and some people still say that it is strong.

Depends on how strong you like the brew. I use a heaping tablespoon full, you can start there and add or reduce the amount to taste.

huh?

I use a standard tablespoon measuring spoon and use three rounded (high) scoops of coffee for 12 cups. Depending on the brand of coffee you are using, you may have the perfect pot flavor-wise, or you'll need to adjust the amount of each tablespoon (little more or little less). Good luck!
