Are plastic waterbottles dangerouse?!

Question: I heward it on the news

Answers: I heward it on the news

you are incorect. the plastic is not poison, it's the water! don't drink water!

yes unless they are recycled

no but, if you use them in a wrong way then yes.

not in short period , if you kept them unused for long time, it bad

they can be to the animals if u litter. it can be dangerous to u if u keep on using the same water bottle because bacteria gets on the bottle.

Depends on the type of plastic water bottle you mean. If you mean Nalgene type bottles (unbreakable, made from polycarbonate) have been under scrutiny recently because of the presence of BPA (bisphenol A, a suspected carcinogen). Many companies (such as Lululemon) have pulled polycarbonate bottles from their shelves and now sell ones made of acrylic or polyethylene (which do not contain BPA).

If you mean the disposable bottles like the kind you buy cases of at the grocery store, they are not dangerous UNLESS you use them after they pass their expiration date. After the expiration date (usually about two years after purchase) the plastic will begin to decompose, leaching potentially harmful chemicals into your water. You can reuse the bottles up until their expiry date, then you should recycle them.
