Question: Water expired!?
I have bottled water in my fridge and it's been in there for a bit!. So I was drinking one the other day and came across an expiration date!. It said Dec!. 14, 2007!. Can water REALLY expire!? Seriously!. It's WATER!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
The water doesn't expire, but there's a possibility that the chemicals in the bottle have leached into the water somewhat!. I would drink it anyway, and then I would stop buying bottled water because it's a terrific waste of natural resources and money!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No! Health and safety paranoia strikes again!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Nah it is fine! They just have to put a expired date by law and also as a way to get you to buy more water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

of course water cannot expire!. it is law that all food or drink or medicine must have an expiration date!. the worst that could happen is that it would taste a little stale!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

water does NOT expire, as long as it hasn't been opened you have nothing to worry about, once its opened and left for some time, THEN it isn't safe to drink after some time because idk what starts to grow, they did a segment on it on the news a while back since then i never kept open bottles of water for longer than 2 daysWww@FoodAQ@Com

Just drink it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

In the wise words of adverts!.!.!. JUST DO IT!.
As long as it's not open it's fine, FDA requires that food & drugs have an expiration date, but not EVERYTHING decomposes after that date!.
