Coffee is filtered through a machine with hot water!. Espresso is filtered through a machine using high pressure, super hot water, as well as a more finely ground coffee bean!.

Basically, reg!. coffee can be any style coffee made with hot water, and can be had black, w/ sugar, cream, milk, or any combination!.
Espresso is usually a strong extract of French, dark roast etc!. ,served in a smaller cup and can be "cut" w/ sugar if desired!.
