Apparently, it doesn't take as much water to make seltzer as you'd think!. Those bubbles are probably taking up a lot more space in the bottle than you realize!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

beacause the company wants to make money!.

they dont care about how it doesint make sens they just want money

hope i helpedWww@FoodAQ@Com

Because people don't go around drinking seltzer as they do plain water,if they did the people that make seltzer water would up the price to about a arm and a leg like plain river bottle water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

possibly a different brand!?

all soft drinks are very cheap to produce, so whether it is water or seltzer water or soda or whatever it is priced at a point that they guess might maximize profit

generally if you sell something for a cheaper price you are hoping to sell more of it

also, many stores use loss leaders which are items priced so low that the store makes no money at all, or even loses a bit; the purpose is to attract shoppers who then buy other things

a McD double cheeseburger on the dollar menu is an example of that; once you come in to buy the dollar menu item they are guessing you might also get a Coke for 1!.89 that costs them about !.07 to serveWww@FoodAQ@Com

I have never noticed this !.!.!. I though they were the around the same price!.!. but store brands are always cheaper!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Simple economics !? The more they produce and sell the cheaper it can cost to manufacture!. Cheaper prices also encourages people to buy!.

And it just shows how gullible consumers are for paying high prices for bottled water!. If we didn't buy it, watch the price come down!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
