Looking for ideas for cold drinks that don't cause acid erosion...?!

Question: Looking for ideas for cold drinks that don't cause acid erosion!.!.!.!?
My dentist has advised me to cut down on drinks which cause acid erosion such as fruit juice, diluting juice etc, which I normally drink loads of because I am always thirsty!.

(I don't drink sugar free drinks because they usually contain aspartame, but they are probably still acidic even without the sugar!?)

What things could I drink other than water, tea and milk that won't cause acid erosion!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Son\me ways to avoid acid erosion of the teeth is to drink your drinks through a straw {recommended by my dentist and orthodontist}, drink more water, iced tea, dilute your juice with water, drink clear sodas such as Sprite, 7-UP and Squirt, continue to stay away from anything that contains artificial sweeteners!.!.!.

how about still flavoured water like volvic or perfectly clear!. not sure how acidic they are but assume they are better tan pop or juice : )Www@FoodAQ@Com

if your anyway thirtsy go and see a docter [ i am trying 2 worry you but my friend was aways drinking and she had diabetes, but i am not saying you have, if not try vimto suger free thats nice, and barley waters suger free, good luck!.xxWww@FoodAQ@Com

Sorry, I wouldn't want to worry you but I'm a bit concerned by the fact you say you're always thirsty!. Excessive thirst is often one of the first signs of diabetes!. If you're thirsty to the extent that you're drinking lots & lots, it's worth getting your doc to check you out!. Of course, it could just be that you work/live in a warm/dry environment!.

Sorry, after all that I can't think of any sugar/acid free drinks, except perhaps iced tea - can't comment on it though as I've never tried it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
