Can i reuse my tea-bags?!

Scientificly speaking, tea-bags only last one use, this is due to the flavoring substance inside dissolving for flavor!. However this may differ, depending on the size of the tea-bag!. If you have a rather large tea-bag, it would last about 3 uses, smaller ones only last 1-2 uses!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tea bags don't have much left in them after they have been steeped in water!. Besides, tea bags are inexpensive!. I buy 100 of them for about one dollar!. (They are one of the few things at the grocery store that haven't gone up in price!.) There are better ways of being economical in the kitchen!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
ok trick is for reusing tea bags is to only the first time you use them let steep for 2 mins, yea the flavor isnt going to be as strong but that gives you equal flavor the second time you use it!. For second use I would use a Tea spoon the kind you use for loose tea leaves just in case the mesh bag breaks which is shouldnt but Ive had it happen!.

The flavor and "benefits" wont be as good haha!. Tea leaves are better than the actual tea in bags because they are kept in tins which keeps the air out and preserves it much better!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yeah, I used to do this in college!. Just steep for a few minutes for the first cup, and a long time for the second cup!. The second cup with have less caffeine in it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
