Answers:
Zuid Afrikaanse Republiek!. Basically meaning South African Republic!. Today its called the Republic of South Africa but the ZAR acronym is still used occasionally though the RSA acronym is more widely used now!.

ZAR - Afrikaans word for Republic of South Africa or Rand as is used to describe the South African currency(RAND)
