Making icecream sodas & egg creams ; A lost art?!
OK, am I dating myself or in some kind of time warp!? When I order either one of these no one seems to know what I'm talking about, including Ben & Jerrys and other well known places!. Most will give me a "float" or say, "what's that", or how do you make it!. Have you run into this!?

I think there are areas in NYC where you can still get egg creams!. I didn't know it was hard to find an ice cream soda, but then I haven't ordered one in many years! !.!.!. I'd image that a real "malt" is also hard to find now too!.!.!.!.!. (I'll bet you remember when we made our chocolate milk with Bosco too!)Www@FoodAQ@Com
yes they are very difficult to find!.The "mom & pop shops" as far as I know there are only a few around and it would be best to look those up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
