How do I make a pina colada with a strong, sweet coconut flavor?!
I like a virgin pina colada once in a while, but I don't know whether to use coconut milk or cream, what brand to use, and whether to add sugar!. Someone said Coco Lopez, but I havent been able to find that particular brand!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Coco Lopez is absolutely the way to go as it is already sweetened, whereas coconut milk won't be!. It is usually available in the latin cuisine section of most major supermarkets!. You can always ask your favorite bar for their recipe or where they get their coco lopez as chances are they use it also!.
You can, however, use coconut milk to make something called a "batida" which is kind of like a fruit milkshake!. Coconut milk, simple syrup (heat equal parts water and sugar till sugar dissolves, then let cool), ice, and your favorite fruit puree in a blender and it will be very yummy, promise! Easy on the cocounut milk, though, as it goes a long way!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Coconut cream is better to use if you have it because coconut milk may be too runny!. Any brand that you find reliable is fine and I don't find that any one brand is better than the other in taste, it is just the consistency that differsWww@FoodAQ@Com
any packed coconut milk will do, just remember not to use the powdered ones and yes add sugar, or simple syrup to your pina colada!. !. !. yummWww@FoodAQ@Com
