Why does foam form when you make iced tea?!


Question: Why does foam form when you make iced tea!?
Answers:
Because when you brew tea the heat breaks down (scientific term is "denatures") the proteins in the leaves and causes them to "unravel" and float to the top creating foam!.

This is the same thing that you see when you cook a piece of meat or fish!.!.!.!.those white globs that form on cooked meats are denatured proteins!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I never have foam !.!.!.!. Use Lipton's COLD BREW tea bags!. They "brew" in cold water, in about 5 min, in the pitcherWww@FoodAQ@Com
