What size Bialetti stove top espresso maker?!
I'm wondering which size to purchase, the 1 or 3 cup!? I would generally only be making 1 cup for myself as i live on my own, however just wondering if it would make much of a difference if I just got a 3 cup one instead (so I could make coffee for the odd guest now and then) and just use smaller amounts of coffee/water to make 1 cup for myself!? Would this work!? Would it effect the taste!?

I've had both the 1 and 3 cup models and I used the 3 cup far more often!.
I am the only coffee drinking in my home, but I purchased the 3 cup model for just the reason you mentioned, guests!.
I thought the 1 cup would be enough, but when you want to make another cup right away, it's too hot to fiddle with!.
I do make a single cup in the 3 cup model without any change in quality to the brew!.

Note: NEVER put in the dish washer! This goes for all things made out of aluminium I think!. I put the 1 cup model in and it turned grey in colour and when touched leaves a grey residue on hands and dish towels!. I've since tossed it out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
