Hi there are all kinds of tea and tea makes, you can get tea in a box that are called tea bags, or tea leaves in foil bags!.
If you are going to use tea leaves you will need a tea strainer that is like a sieve but fits over your cup,you put the tea leaves into the tea strainer and then pour over boiling water and then discard the tea leaves once drained and then add your milk and sugar to how you prefer!.
However most people just buy boxes of tea bags
All you do is
1 Take a tea bag out of box
2 Put in Cup
3 Add sugar if you take it
4 Pour in Hot water from Kettle
5 Leave tea bag to brew for aprox 3 mins
6 Squeeze tea bag with spoon on side of cup and then take out and put in bin!.
7 add milk and then stir!.
All done!.
People say its wrong to put the milk in first, but when I cannot be bothered waiting to put the milk in, I put the milk in when I add the sugar to the cup then put the hot water in and then leave for 3 mins, then all you got to do is take the tea bag out and stir, Still takes the same!.
Some people also use tea pots, you add a couple of tea bags depending how much tea you want to make to the tea pot, add boling water to the tea pot, and leave to brew for about 3 mins, then pour into cups then add milk and sugar, you get a stronger flavour tea when doing it this way!.
Sometimes people dont add sugar or milk to there tea, so its best to ask how people like there tea making!. lol
The best tea bags in my opinion are Typhoo or PJ PryamidsWww@FoodAQ@Com

There are two different ways in which you can make tea - by the pot or by the cup!. The single most important thing to remember in all of this process is heat!. The tea leafs impart their taste to the water most effectively when the water is actually boiling!. To make really good tea you must go to every length possible to exclude coldness from the equation!.
Tea made in the pot is (if done correctly) superior to tea made by the cup!. This is partly because you should have access to better quality tea and partly because it avoids the difficult question of when to add the milk!.

Mug, whack in the bag, some milk ( I know lots of people don't put in the milk first but I do so I can tell when its strong enough OK) sugar to taste, boiling water, stir till desired colour reached ( light brown for me) fish out the bag, stir, drink!. It is the finest drink in the world and I miss tea when I am away from England and somewhere that doesn't do it right!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
