Does the green tea contins tannic acid as the red tea .... ?!


Question: Does the green tea contins tannic acid as the red tea !.!.!.!. !?
and if does contian tannic acid does it mean that it doesnt allow iron absorption from food !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. i really like 2 know y they keep on saying that green tea is healthy besides it increses the BMR !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes it contains Tannin!. It is green because it is dried immediately after picking!. Other teas are aged, sometimes fermented before drying!. It is supposed to be a good source of anti-oxidants!. The amount of tannin will have very little effect on iron absorption and even then only when consumed at the same time as the food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
