theres no certain trick!.!.!.!. Down in TExas we just squeeze around 10 or so lemons, add a bucket of sugar (not really, probably 1 to 1 & 1/2 cups of sugar) to a quart of water with the lemon juice in it!.!. stir well, taste (this is a taste and add recipe, no certain measures from the south)!.!. then adjust accordingly!.!. if its too weak, add more lemon, if its too strong, add more water, if its not sweet enough (and it never is) add more sugar!.!. then when its just about right!.!. add a ton of ice and "walah" youve got lemonaide!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Southern Stlye Cold :Lemonade

2 cups water
1/2-1 tablespoon sugar
1/2-1 teaspoon salt
crushed ice
Directions
1Squeeze the juice of the lime into a tall glass!.
2Add water to the glass!. Add the sugar and salt to taste, you may adjust the amount of salt and sugar according to your preference!.
3Serve over crushed ice and serve with a straw!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You'll need about 6 lemons or so!. Cut them in half and squeeze out the juice until you get about a pint of pure juice then mix that with a gallon of water and sugar to taste then add ice and thats it!. It really isn't a reciepe per say but that's what we do!. If that is too strong use less juice or add some, its up to you!. Grandma's didn't use recipes alll the time that's what made them great!. They made them with love and used what they had!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the bottle of Realemon lemon juice used to have the recipe on the label and you could buy and squeeze fresh lemons to equal the amount of lemon juice and take it from there!. Serve with a slice of lemon and ice in a frosted glass with a sugared rim!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

buy a five pound bag of lemons!. Cut 4 into flat wedged pieces (maybe a 1/4" in width)!. squeeze the rest!. mix lemon juice with three cups of sugar!. add water to finish filling the pitcher then add the cut pieces and refrigerate til cold!. Pour over ice and serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Keep in the fridge until just before you're ready to serve it, then bring it out at the last minute!. also, put some ice in it!. Those are some things you could do!. (I know, both of those involve the use of electricity, something our ancestors were not long on!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

The first person who said something did it just like my grandma in Louisiana made!.
Except just to add one thing, my grandma would always let it brew in one of those ice tea pitchers!. That's really makes the sugar dissolve and sooo good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
