Italian Ice - Can you make it at home?!
I love Italian Lemonade (Ice) here in Chicago!. The stand I got to the most is Marios Lemonade stand in Little Italy!. I was wondering if Italian ice is something one can make on their own!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try this, it's easy and tastes authentic!.
ITALIAN LEMON ICE
8 to 10 lemons
1 tbsp!. grated lemon peel
1 to 1 1/2 c!. lemon juice
8 c!. water
1/2 tsp!. salt
For a difference in flavor, add 2 or more cups of another fruit that is sliced, diced or pureed!. Such as strawberries, cherries, watermelon, raspberries!.
In saucepan, bring to a boil 2 cups water and 2 cups sugar!. Let cool!. Then mix together in an ice cream freezer as you would regular ice cream!.
