Can you mix energy drinks with vicodin?!

Question: Can you mix energy drinks with vicodin!?
If you drink a red bull or coffee and like 3 hours later you take vicodin, are there any side effects!? What can you take instead as a painkiller!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
That's a really good question!. I would check with the doctor that prescribed the medication!. Other painkillers that would probably not interfere with energy drinks would be Tylenol (max 1000mg/day) or Ibuprofin (max 800 mg/day), or Naproxin (Aleve)!. I wouldn't take Excedrin with an energy drink because the Excedrin contains caffeine already (that's what helps with the headache/migraine)!. Call 1-800-mynurse and you can ask a nurse (free of charge of course) for answers!. They are really good with questions like this!. Best of luck, hope the pain goes away!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Moodiness maybe!. Especially since Red Bull and Vicodin are polar opposites!.

I wouldn't recommend that anyway!. I wouldn't think that would be good for your heart or your system in general!. If you take it for pain, stick with water!. Stimulants can aggravate pain, so it won't help to take Vicodin!. Besides maybe making you achy and tired!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You are talking about mixing a stimulant with a depressant!. Probably not the best idea!. How about a diet coke and Tylenol!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
