Why is Fox's U-Bet the best choice for making a New York egg cream?!
I was in upstate New York a few days ago (I'm Canadian) and found a bottle of this stuff!.!.!.it's great, and I have enjoyed a few good egg creams now, but haven't tried making one with another brand - why exactly is this stuff considered the best, or is it just tradition!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

U- Bet was the syrup that they use to use in the old soda fountain days!.
I should know because I was constantly filling them up-:)!.
I miss those days!.
An eggcream was 10 cents!.
Try it with another brand and you'll see the difference!.
