I have a blender that crushes ice, can I make a Slurpee with it?!

Question: I have a blender that crushes ice, can I make a Slurpee with it!?
Does any one have any recipes for making slurpees!? Or drinks like that with fruit!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I would suggest for a slurpee, freeze juice into ice cubes, and use the same (liquid) juice and blend the cubes up into a slurpee!.

Otherwise, for a smoothie: ice cream, ice, juice, fruit!. Mix and match flavors for different smoothies!. I like mango-strawberryWww@FoodAQ@Com

Here is one recipe:
2 cups Apple Flavor JUICE100% Juice
1 (8 to 10-ounce) package frozen strawberries, partially thawed
1 banana, peeled
In a blender, combine apple juice, strawberries and banana!. Blend until smooth!. Serve immediately!.

OR

the seven eleven slurpees:

2 cups cold club soda
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon plus 1/8 teaspoon Cherry flavored unsweetened Kool-Aid Mix
1/2 teaspoon cherry extract
2 1/2 cups crushed ice

1!. Pour 1 cup of the club soda into a blender!. Add the sugar, Kool-Aid mix, and cherry extract!. Blend this until all of the sugar is dissolved!.
2!. Add the crushed ice and blend on high speed until the drink is a slushy, smooth consistency, with no remaining chunks of ice!.
3!. Add the remaining club soda and blend briefly until mixed!. You may have to stop the blender and use a long spoon to stir up the contents!.
4!. If necessary, put the blender into your freezer for 1/2-hour!. This will help thicken it up!. After 1/2-hour remove blender from freezer and, again, blend briefly to mix!.

OR

This one:

1/2 c Orange juice (may substitue
-pineapple; or grape for
-color)
1 lg Banana
1/2 cn Peaches canned in juice
-(drained)
1 c Whole frozen strawberries
-(sold loose in a bag--not
-frozen in syrup)
1/2 c Pineapple canned in juice
-(drained)

Instructions:
Shopping malls often have fancy fruit stands where you can buy frozen
fruit drinks made with crushed ice, but every one I have seen is full of
sugar syrups!. This one has no added sugar and is smoother-textured as well!.

Whirl in blender until smooth!. Makes two big servings!.

You can add your own variations, such as fresh peaches, papaya, or coconut
milk for a tropical taste!. The essential elements are a banana, the whole
frozen strawberries, and some juice!.

Crushing ice with your blender does not have the same consistency as a slurpee!. The consistency is usually a little more chunky or smoother, like a smoothie!. Slurpies are made by freezing temperatures while moving the liquid!. It freezes it without making it a solid chunk of ice!. But don't let that stop you!. Just because the consistency might not be exactly the same is no reason not to do it anyhow and enjoy it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

um , well get a jucie put it in a cup freeze it for 2 hours and put some more juice the flavor you want it freeze it over night and then probably blend it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
