Is it safe for a pregnant woman to drink non-alcoholic drinks?!

Question: Is it safe for a pregnant woman to drink non-alcoholic drinks!?
My friend Nadine is having a baby!. Is it safe for her to have virgin daquiris and virgin pina coladas!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
First of all, a drop of alcohol is not going to kill the baby or cause much harm!. The jury isn't even out yet, some experts agree that moderate drinking (say a glass of wine a week) is alright, while others think that even a sip of beer could be cause for major harm!.

If the mix for daiquiri's or pina colada's contained alcohol, they wouldn't be sold on store shelves and allowed to be bought without an ID!. also keep in mind that a human blood-stream contains trace amounts of alcohol naturally!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Your friend should avoid Non-alcoholic wine and non-alcoholic beer!. These products are made just like their alcoholic counterparts but at the end of the process, the alcohol is (mostly) removed!. Non-alcoholic wines and beers will both contain very small amounts of alcohol!.

On the other hand, virgin daquaris and other assorted virgin fruity drinks have never come in contact with alcohol!. They are simply prepared without any alcohol to begin with!. Any little kid can order a virgin drink!. However, to buy non-alcoholic wines and beers, you still need to show ID!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes it is safe!. The word NON-Alcoholic says it all!. The bartenders are very careful not to use the same mixers, shakers or glasses as they used for the alcoholic breverages!. A friend of mine is a bartender and she says that they are very careful since some people can get really upset if there is some trace of alcohol in thier drinks!. Hope this info is useful!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes, but dont drink an excessive amount though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why wouldn't it be!? There is no alcohol in them so why the worry!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
