I have mint growing in my yard can i make mint tea with it. hot or cold?!

You can crush fresh mint and put it in a tea brewing ball with your tea !. We have a ton of it growing here where I live!. Spearmint and peppermint!. Try making it hot !. It releases the mint oils much better!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yes you can, it's wonderful!. also, you can use it in lemonades and pineapple juice!. If you like tabbouleh, that is a must in it!.

2 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
25g/1oz caster sugar
250ml/8?fl oz almost boiling water
Method
1!. Stir all the ingredients into the hot water!.
2!. Leave to infuse for 1-2 minutes, then remove the ginger!.
3!. Serve immediately while hot!.
Juice:
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 1/2 cups water
1 cup fresh mint leaves
juice of 2 oranges
juice of 6 lemons
4 teaspoons grated orange peel
fresh orange or lemon slices and sprigs of mint for garnish
PREPARATION:
Lemonade directions
Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan; bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes!. Remove from heat; cool slightly!.
Place mint leaves in a small bowl; add sugar syrup, orange juice, lemon juice, and grated orange peel!.
Cover and let steep for 1 hour!. Strain into a 1-quart container; cover and keep refrigerated!.
To serve, mix 1 part lemon mint mixture with 2 parts water!. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon or orange slices and sprigs of mint if desired!.

yes!. Clip a few sprigs, rinse off any bugs or dirt that may be on it, dry it, and then crumble it up a bit!. You can mix it with a little bit of regular black tea or brew it straight, but use a tea ball like you would with loose tea!.

oh yeah and its really good if you put it in lemonade too! If you do dry it make sure it has plenty of air to circulate around the bunch so it does not mold!. The best way to dry is collect a small bunch and twist a rubber band around the ends and hang on a nail or tack out of direct sunlight!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
