Answers:
You bet it will make you gain weight !.!.!.!. a lot of people also react badly after ingesting foods and drinks labelled "diet" items as they usually contain an artificial chemical sweetner called aspartame!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. aspartame!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. the truth about aspartame is that it is an insidious sweet chemically enhanced sugar that will cause all sorts of devastating side affects if consumed in enough quantities!.

Seems ludicrous to me that something that is marketed to help you lose weight will in actual fact help you to gain weight !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. what aspartame does is block the satiety receptors in your brain (you know that feeling of satiety ie ~ having had enough to eat or drink!?!?) thus making you unaware of the fact that you're not hungry anymore and you will most times simply keep eating !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. ***brrrr shudders*** !.!.!.!.!.!. avoid that nasty stuff like the plague i reckon !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. drink water with a splash of lemon or lime juice !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. the natural vitamin C and citric acid in both will do wonders for your blood pressure levels, act as a natural laxative and digestive aid and also bolster your immune system!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. it also causes a devastating list of side affects!.

Here, have a look at this link, it may be of use to you ~

Soda is loaded with sweeteners usually high fructose corn syrup or sugar substitutes, usually aspartame!. refined sugars have deleterious effects on every organ and system in the body!. The sugar in soda act as an anti nutrient!.
Aspartame is a neurotoxic substance that has been associated with numerous health problems including dizziness, visual impairment, severe muscle aches, numbing of extremities, pancreatitis, high blood pressure, retinal hemorrhaging, seizures and depression!. It is suspected of causing birth defects and chemical disruptions in the brain!.
In additions to sugar or sugar substitutes, most soft drinks contain phosphoric acid!. Phosphoric acid blocks the absorption of calcium and magnesium!.
