Question: Can plastic pitchers hold boiling water!? If not what kind of pitchers can hold boiling water!?
Answers:
It can hold it, but the question is if it's healthy for you!. There are many unsafe, toxic plastics which can be made even more toxic when heated by something such as boiling water!. Look for the number that's probably on the bottom of the pitcher!. #'s 1, 2, 4, and 5 are ok!. #3 is really bad, even without heat, so if you have any plastic that you eat or drink out of with that number, throw it out!. #'s 6 and 7 are bad too!. If there are any other numbers you have that you're not sure about, just google it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If they are able to stand up to a dishwasher it should be ok!.!.!.however in this case you should use some kind of metal pitcher or glass!.!.!.!.!.good luck and play it safe!Www@FoodAQ@Com
