Answers:
ok, yes, usually, for a mug you would use 2 shots of coffee!.
so!.!.!.
-use the extractor with two spouts (if you have one, if not, the single spout is fine, just do it twice)
fill this to near the top with ground espresso, and press down firmly to compact the coffee!.
-extract it straight in to your mug which should be pre-warmed!. the coffee should never be over esxtracted, you want it to come out of the spout looking creamy and similar in consistency to that of honey
-for the milk, grab a stainless steel milk jug, fill with approx 300-400 mL of milk, with your steaming spout on your machine, whack it in the milk jug, turn it on to full blast, you dont want sound when frothing the milk!. no screeching or whistling and very little 'suction' sound is best!. so just move the jug around until you find the right place for it to 'whirlpool' nicely and heat thru until approx 60-70 degrees celsius (if you dont have a themrometer just use your hand at the bottom of the jug, you'll be able to tell when its getting hot!)
make sure you dont burn the milk!.
-now, for the purpose of making a flat white, you dont need any froth!. so when you are pouring the milk in, just hold back the froth with a spoon and voila, your perfect coffee!Www@FoodAQ@Com
