Definately!. Water!. Proper hydration will actually increase our motabolism and energy levels by 3%!. Caffeinated drinks take more water to process than they provide so they actually dehydrate us!.

If you feel tired first drink 2 glasses of water!. If you feel better after 15 minute then you were just dehydrated!. If you still feel tired then try an energy drink or coffee!.

We actually need 1 ounce for every 2 pounds of body weight plus 8 ounce for every 20 minute of exercise!. With warm/dry climates or days we need even more!. Alcohole like caffeine has a dehydrating affect on the body!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bananas or Porrage Oats give you long, slow burn energy!.

Excesses of caffeine actually cause you to feel sleepy!

The Taurine in Red Bull is currently being investigated in Europe for the damage it causes to the human body and is banned in Germany!.

Many energy drinks are of the rush and burn variety - short term sugar boost, followed by deeper low!. Continuous use can bring on Type II diabetes!.

Balanced diet, exercise and good rest are usually the best long term strategies for staying awake and healthy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, stop with the caffeine! It really does hype you up, then crash you!. Try drinking water or orange juice in the morning!. Eat a good breakfast that is balanced, and that should give you all the energy you need! If anything, save caffeine for the end of the day, so that when you crash, you will be going to sleep anyway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Water and sugar, like in orange juice or prune juice!. I also take 1500 mg of DL-Phenylalanine from Vitamin Shoppe, and it helps a lot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
