What do you think of my plan to give up soda?!


Question: What do you think of my plan to give up soda!?
After my previous post I realize I might have a problem, so I was thinking of switching to carbonated pink lemonade, getting addicted to that, then switching to regular pink lemonade!. And you can only consume so much pink lemonade, right!? So I'll eventually get tired of it and just drink water! Will it actually work!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Commercially made pink lemonade has just as much acid and sugar as soda, so it's not a great alternative!. You'll still crave the sugar, and you won't be getting any major health benefits!.
If you have the will power, just go cold turkey!. It'll be hard the first three days, but you'll be surprised how quickly you'll stop craving it once you've been off it for 48 hours!. Have lots of water on hand and drink it whenever you start craving soda!. If you don't like plain water, add some fresh fruit juice or slices of lemon/lime/orange/any fruit you like!.
If you usually drink caffeinated soda, have some headache medication on hand, since you'll be very likely to get a headache!. Don't worry, it'll pass in a day or two!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yeh it sould work but afte dinking something flavores for so long you will miss it and get tired of just water!. There are many other drinks out there besides soda and lemonade!. YOu could dink orange juice, apple juice, cranbery juice, grape juice, and any other kind of juice!. You could also dink tea, coffee, gatorade, flavored water, etc!. You arent limited to just water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Everyones different!. Not everyone will have the will power to quit something like drinking soda!. as you all know soda has caffeine and caffeine can become addictive!. Your plan sounds good because your going from something that may be less healthy for you to something better for you with pretty much the same taste as the alternative choice!. Then I think is when you are able to let go of soda!. you've taken yourself away from caffeine and then are able to say no! good job!Www@FoodAQ@Com

maybe!. but dont stop drinking soda cold turkey, especially if its coke or pepsi!. wean yourself off it otherwise youll get bad migranes everyday and getv sick!.

my teacher did this after being addicted to coca cola and that happened to him!.

and im addicted to coke, i stopped for a week and the same thing happened to me

(coke meaning the soda not the drug lol)

Just stop drinking soda for a few days and only drink water!. You think your addicted but after a few days, trust me your not going to be craving it that much!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is a good idea to give up carbonated drinks as they affect the calcium in your bones and that will cause BIG issues in later life!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
