Why are non-alcoholic beers on sale in the ALCOHOL aisle in supermarkets?!

Question: Why are non-alcoholic beers on sale in the ALCOHOL aisle in supermarkets!?
Surely it is common sense to move non-alcoholic brands to a different aisle so that those who are wanting to buy them don't have to walk past all the alcoholic ones!? This may benefit alcoholics in keeping away from drink!?

Do you think this is a sensible idea!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I think your idea is sensible, but the key word is alcohol!.

Alcohol free drinks have the word alcohol in them, so people would look firstly in the alcohol section of the store, or in the beers and wines section!.

I think your right though, it could be put on the end of the isle to stop recovering alcoholics needing to go down that isle!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's in the alcohol aisle because it contains a minute amount of alcohol!. It is distributed by beer companies!. And, it's illegal in most states to sell it to anyone under the legal drinking age!. So, actually it does make sense!.

It's not a good alternative beverage for recovering alcoholics!. Nor is it safe for anyone who is alcohol intolerant!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Due to licensing laws!. All alcohol has to be kept together, even though it says its Non-alcoholic, it still has like 0!.5% alcohol, therefore needs to be in the alcohol isleWww@FoodAQ@Com

It is still beer with or without alcohol (btw non-alcoholic beer still has alcohol, its like !.01 percent)!. So they put it with the rest of the beers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Its easier to organize!. And if an alcoholic is trying to quit drinking, will power would be a huge asset, and being able to take home some O'douls and not Coors Light takes will power!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Its so u can buy it and trick ur friends by telling them its normal alcohol, and then laugh at them when they pretend to be drunk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

because they want you to buy the booze instead as its more expensive so your spend more moneyWww@FoodAQ@Com

i dunno, but you still have to be 18 to buy it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Lol it is stupid!.

I totally agree!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
