Rooibos or redbush tea. Does it contain stimulants?!
I'm cutting down on my caffeine intake at the moment!. I've started to drink rooibos tea as it doesn't contain caffeine!. I don't know whether or not it is a coincidence, but whenever I've drunk it late in the day, I've had difficulty getting to sleep!. Does it contain any stimulants!? Caffeine free does not mean stimulant free, does it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Rooibos is becoming more popular in Western countries particularly among health-conscious consumers, due to its high level of antioxidants such as aspalathin and nothofagin, its lack of caffeine, and its low tannin levels compared to fully oxidized black tea or unoxidized green tea leaves!.[citation needed] "Green" rooibos (see above) has a higher antioxidant capacity than fully oxidised rooibos!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i've had rooibus tea and I love the taste of it!. I've also had honey bush which I believe also comes from Africa, like rooibus!. I personally haven't noticed any kind of caffeine like effect from drinking rooibus, but it may affect people differently!.
If you need some other caffeine free teas, try honeybush, or chamomile tea!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
