i dont know who first thought it up but the first time i tried it was in the early 60's and our milkman used to sell half pint bottles of it called mickey it was a treat for us kids every friday to have one!.i loved it!.my favourite one is the fresh one that waitrose sell!.when i was pregnant i used to drink a pint of it every day and could not understand why i gained 3st lol!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
