Tube of soda? New York?!
My Grandmother is reading a book (based in New York present time) and in it they keep referring to cans of pop/soda as tubes!. Or at least thats all we can make of it when they say "I had a tube of it earlier" or something like "I got the tube of that earlier"!. I've never heard that term before and I wondered if maybe anyone else has!. Are they really referring to soda!? She swears that in context it has led her to believe it is cans of pop!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
