Woke up from night of coffee drinking, felt like I was having something similar to bad trip?!

Question: Woke up from night of coffee drinking, felt like I was having something similar to bad trip!?
My boyfriend and I were trying to stay up all night since it was our last night together for a long time, I drank one espresso and 2 cups of strong, strong coffee within 30 minutes!. We fell asleep for about 3 hours, when I woke up I seriously felt like I was tripping out until I threw up!. He didn't drink as much coffee as I did, he was fine!. I usually drink 2 cups every other day, same coffee!.
To define tripping out, my mind was somewhere completely scattered and I couldn't get it together, of course my heart was racing, and I was incredibly dizzy!. I felt fine when I went to bed!.
I'm thinking it was the stress of him leaving on top of the amount of caffeine, or what happened!?!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Overdose of caffeine!. Same as taking some dexedrine pills which were handed out to American pilots in World War 2 so they could keep flying when they should have been sleeping!. THe caffeine has a "rebound" effect on your brain!. It's a speed which explains the racing heart!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you have not yet, put this question in the Health Category as well!

I have heard that too much espresso can do you physical harm!. In fact, when seeing espresso shots at this one gas station, it has a warning on the label only 2 a day or a sign that said two a day, because too much can make you "trip"!.

No, it's highly unlikely to do with the stress of your boyfriend!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It was definitely a combination of stress and too much caffeine!. Stress and caffeine aggravate each other!. It's happened to me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
