Easy answer: avoid chocolate milk and shakes!.

If it's not the milk, or the chocolate, it could be the colouring they add to the chocolate flavouring!. There is alot of stuff you could be sensitive to, if it happens with anything else, write down the ingredients list and compare!. Common ingredients = problem!. If it doesn't happen with anything esle, then it really doesn't matter, if you can avoid chocolate milk you'll be fine!. Usually, finding out what makes you sick is the hard part, but it seems you've already done that!.

note: Irriable Bowel Sydnrome is in other words " you have bowel problems and we don't know why" If you know that it's food that sets you off it's never IBS!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

my first guess would be lactose intolerant but since it only happens with chocolate milk and no other dairy or chocolate,my question to would be do you buy premade half gallon/gallon chocolate milk or do u buy regular milk and add chocolate to it!. if you buy the half gallon/gallon chocolate milk maybe there is something in the milk that makes you sick!. since you seem to be fine with regular milk buy it and add chocolate syrup to it and see if you have the same reaction!. other than that im fresh out of ideasWww@FoodAQ@Com

Maybe you're allergic to one of the ingredients in the chocolate milk besides the milk and the chocolate or cocoa!. There are a lot of gums and emulsifiers in chocolate milk to make it taste creamy and to keep the chocolate from separating!. Check the ingredients and see if that makes a difference!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

oh god, this happens to me too! It tastes so good but then I feel sooo sick afterwards!. I think it's either the high concentration of sugar mixed with milk or the fact that the chocolate isn't really chocolate at all, it's mostly chemical crud!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I guess the only thing that I can think of is maybe your allergic to chocolate, milk, dairy products!. I can't drink milk! I'm not lactose intolerant but I can't drink it!. It too upsets my stomach!. So just avoid those drinks!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is how I react if I get too much sugar and too heavy food!. Does it also happen if you just take one or two sips!? Sounds like you have to cut down on quantity - just don't drink more than a few sips!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
