It's the same as regular (i!.e!. orange Pekoe) tea, only the leaves haven't fully matured when they are picked, so the taste is very light!.
I can see how it would make a good iced tea (but I've only had it hot)!.

white tea has a very subtle taste!. white tea is usually flavored with some kind of fruit!. Not all the time though!. I personally love it!. And yes, it is wonderful when served over ice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
