I think it is about time!.
In Texas you have a Starbucks store across the street from a Starbucks!.
In Virginia there is a shopping ceneter with a Starbucks store in it and the next shopping center 500 yards up on the same side of the street has one inside of a supermarket!.
In PA there is a shopping center that has a Starbucks store and one inside the bookstore!.
There are examples just like this all over the country!. Even when they were raking in the money this was simply extremly stupid!. Now that the economy is down and people have discoverd that there are other and better places to get coffee it is completely moronic to keep all of these places open!.
In fact it is so stupid that they should shut down the entire chain for being so dumb!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think they suffer from terrible mismanagement!. In our city, Starbucks has probably built 10 stores in the last 3-4 years!. On one street there is a Starbucks in front of a movie theater, across the street there is a Starbucks in a book store, and about 2 blocks away, there is another Starbucks!. I may not be a fiscal genius, but that seems to be overkill!. One store could probably handle the business for that area, and there would be WAY less overhead!. And that is just one town in America!. I can only imagine the $$$ wasted on a nationwide level!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Well, I work at Starbucks and it really does suck for a lot of us!. Those of us who aren't losing our jobs are still losing a lot of money because they are trying to send the partners from the closed stores to our's and therefore we lose lots of hours!. It really isn't ideal and we weren't warned beforehand, we found out when y'all did and to all of you people who hate Starbucks, good for you but there are people out there losing their jobs left and right because of the closings!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Oh, I'm laughing!. I purely hate that place, and my office always sent me there for coffee!. Hate their music, hate their names for their sizes, hate that over-roasted taste, hate the attitude, hate their prices! Looks like other people got tired of their nonsense, too!. What I really love is that a ma-and-pa shop near my home that almost got squeezed out by Starbucks has survived--ha! :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Kind of indifferent!.!.!.!.we've got a nice specialty coffee shop downtown buuut, at the same time starbucks is yummy as well and conveniently closer!. Bummer but, I could live without it!Www@FoodAQ@Com
