Is coffee homogenous?!
When I drink brewed coffee, is it homogenous (as in a perfect liquid) or heterogenous (as in I'm drinking small particles of coffee suspended in water)!?
What about Instant Coffee!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I'm pretty sure it's heterogeneous!. The coffee particles are unable to achieve a perfect tessellation with the water molecules, which leave them, ultimately, separated!. This keeps it from being considered a homogeneous compound!. But Google it, I may be incorrect!.
EDIT:
I just looked it up!. In the case of brewed coffee, it could be considered a homogeneous compound, being that you are unable to create a standard separation of the coffee from the water!. But in the case of instant coffee, which is not brewed, it is a Heterogeneous mixture, because the two compounds (Water and coffee) never actually mix, they merely complement each other!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes!. A homogeneous mixture has the same uniform appearance and composition throughout
Instant coffee heterogeneous It's a mixture thats consists of visibly different substances!.!.!. Particle size distinguishes homogeneous solutions from other heterogeneous mixtures!.

Brewed coffee is a "solution" so I guess that would make it homogeneous!.
But I think that instant coffee is definitely heterogeneous!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
