Does black TEA contain as much Caffiene as COFFEE ?!

Question: Does black TEA contain as much Caffiene as COFFEE !?
Answers:
Levels vary between varieties of tea but tea usually contains much less caffeine and even less actually gets drunk because most people don't drink tea at it's maximum strength!.

I'm a tea drinker and I find that a single cup of instant coffee (I used to drink it by the gallon) is too buzzy for me, which shows how much stronger the coffee is!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I doubt it!.

Tea is never advertised as caffeine-indulgent, and is usually not found on the label!. If curious, check the ingredients!.

The list might look like this:

Coffee

Item, item, caffeine, item, item

Tea
item, item, item, item, item, item, item, item, caffeine

There would be more caffeine in coffee, determined by the fact it's higher-up on the ingredient list!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The average cup of tea will contain about one quarter of the caffeine as an average cup of coffee!. Now what is average!? There is a wide range of caffeine content in different teas and different coffees!. A more precise question can get you a more precise answer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
