If you are *getting into tea*, then it is time you learn the difference between tea and tisane!. There is only one true tea, and that comes from the Camellia sinensis plant!. Different processing of the tea results in different types!. You have Black Tea, Green Tea, Oolong Tea, Darjeeling Tea, White Tea, etc!. Then you have the different grades like pekoe, orange pekoe, broken orange pekoe, (no that is not a flavor)!.

Anything else is a tisane or infusion!. Your herbal *teas* are tisanes, your fruit *teas* are tisanes!.

The best tea is loose leaf tea!. The stuff you find in bags is bad!. There are some chopped up dried leaves, but it is mostly the left over dust from processing the loose leaf tea, not whole tea!.

My favorite tisane is Bourbon Street Vanilla Rooibos!. My favorite tea is a pekoe grade Black Tea!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

there isn't a best brand or best type of tea!. But the ones I like are

Tazo
Celestial Seasonings
Meijer Brand

My favorite types are green tea, white tea, and oolong tea!. But i'll drink any type of true tea!. I'm not really into herbal teas!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I really enjoy this brand: YamaMotoYama!. I like their jasmine, green tea and my favorite: Genmai-cha (a tea blend of green tea & roasted rice)!. It's really good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
