I'm almost 16 and I get really tired in school but drinking Monsters seem to really help keep me awake!. I drink the low carb ones so they're only 20 calories!. Would it be really bad to drink one everyday before school!? Thanks!. =]Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
A single Monster each day!? No it won't be bad!. It is within the suggested daily amounts of all makers and is still only about half of the maximum daily safe level of caffeine intake!.

But regular use of an energy drink each day just ot keep you going really is not the solution!. You need to address other things first!.

First and foremost get enough sleep!. There is simply no replacement!.

Next get plenty of water!. Water will increase you motabolism and energy levels by 3%!. We need 1 ounce for every 2 pounds and 8 more ounces for every 20 minutes of exercise!. With hot/dry days and climates we need even more!. also since caffeine takes more water to process than a caffeinated drink provides it takes water from your system!. So you need to drink extra water to offset the caffeine too!.

Now proper nutrition is also key!. Proper nutrition will also increase your energy levels!. You need good quality supplements too!. The old saying you get what you pay for is VERY true with nutritional supplements!. Most of the ones in the stores are not worth the money!. Even though good quality nutritional supplements may cost more they still are about the same if not less than buyin an energy drink every day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Okay so my senior year of high school I use to buy 2 energy drinks (such as Monster, Rockstar, etc!.)!. I would drink one before school, and then either one for lunch or during a class!. I also would like to add I never ate breakfast, so I was drinking on an empty stomach (just like you)!. Commonly with energy drinks, you experience what is called a "crash!." After all the energy you have obtained, you get very tired!. I experienced this pretty bad!. I passed out and felt dizzy and sick!. I wouldn't recommend having this as a daily drink!. I also wouldn't excess the intake of energy drinks!. I would stick to maybe one a week!. They aren't too safe!. Drink carefully now!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, you shouls set out some breakfast before you go to bed!. That helps out a ton for me!.

also, drinking monsters is bad, because it does give you a lot of energy, but after it wears off, you get sleepy again!. It also damages your body!. So, try not to drink them so often!. It's bad!. Try sparkling water/flavored water!. Or drink about 2-3 monters per week if you really need to:)

hope i helped!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

yeah!.!.!.because yew still get that crash at the end of the day

and Caffeine is harmful for the body when consumed in large quantities!. It can not only raise the blood pressure but can cause several other problems related to blood as well!.

These energy drinks, if taken regularly can have an addictive effect!. For example, guarana, which is a common ingredient in most of these energy drinks, is a stimulant which affects the Central Nervous System (CNS)!. This can have an adverse effect on the body as a whole!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ah, yeah, it's called crash and burn!. It may rev you up for a short period of time but you'll crash so hard when it wears off!.
Simply get up and have some oatmeal, or whole grain cereal (fiber rich foods fill you up and digest slowly so you get a steady source of energy)!. Drink plenty of water, your body needs it!. Scramble up one whole egg and two white and have some whole grain toast!.
There are so many better options for you than junk and energy drinks are junk!.

Edit
Make time!. Get up a 1/2 hour earlier!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I used to drink energy drinks before school like rockstar and redbull!. But most of the time they just made me throw up!. I cant drink them early in the morning!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
