No actually, vitamin water may have almost no sodium, but it still is loaded with calories from sugar!. In fact the amount of you get almost the same about of sugar as you would from a coke, just without all the sodium!. Furthermore, while there are vitamins in it, you would be far better off drinking regular bottled water and taking vitamin pills!.
However, yes you get the same amount of hydration as you would in an equivalent amount of water!.
I like how vitamin water tastes so I drink it, I just make sure I treat it as I would a coke or sprite, as a soft drink!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vitamin Water is actually very unhealthy as it contains crystalline fructose!. What is crystalline fructose!? A sweetner which causes serious liver damage and also just so happens to be derived from ARSENIC!. Definitely stick with water!. Glaceau actually has Smart Water which is purified water with added electrolytes!. VERY smart, VERY effective, and VERY healthy!.
If you're looking for something with flavor, Powerade Zero has recently come out and has zero calories but all the essentials to provide hydration!. Still not better than water, but the next best thing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can count the vitamin water as ounces of fluid the same as water!. They are equally hydrating and don't have caffeine to dehydrate at the same time!.
They are not the same in the sense that you will be consuming about 100 calories with the vitamin water, as opposed to none in regular water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Nope!. It's full of sugar!. So it can help hydrate you a bit, and give you some "energy", but if there's no salt in it (Powerade) it won't help any more than water!. If you're prone to diarrhea, it might make it worse due to vitamin water's tonicity!. Not good in large quantities!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
There's some additives in the Vitamin Water!. The bottled water is better because it is plain water, which is very good for you and doesn't have sugars, calories, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
